Born in Nova Scotia, Andrew Meredith’s passion for painting was evolving while surrounded by the colours of farming, forestry and fishing and while growing up on the East Coast.  Andrew finds ways to portray simple porches, flowers or tiny villages that are so picturesque with his maritime roots. With strong compositions and wide range of tonal values, Andrew’s paintings make full use of the white of the canvas.  As a child Andrew loved to paint and continuously would capture his view and beauty of the world on watercolour paper.  As Andrew grew, so did his love of painting and the desire to become an artist using various mediums to showcase his talent.
